Single Deep Bee Hive with Nuc of Italian Bees

5 Frames of Italian Bees in a 10 Frame Hive Box
with 5 blank frames for room to grow

These are commercial grade hive boxes with screwed down tops for easy removal and screened bottom board and will have closed entrances for safe transport. The hives will have 5 frames installed with 5 empty blank frames for the bees to expand the next.

Hives will be treated for Varroa* Mites prior to pickup dates.
* Varroa Destructor - (Varroa spp.) is an external parasitic mite that attacks the honey bees and is considered the number one cause of colony collapse.

Each hive comes with a mated and laying Italian Queen and 5 frames of bees consisting of a balanced mix of brood and food. The hives will be about half full of bees and half blank frames, which means they will not require an additional 10 frame box as soon. Adding another brood box to the top of these or in the future is recommended as they will eventually need room to expand and grow.
We offer Additional Boxes with new blank frames that can be added to your order (see below) and ready for pickup with your bees.
We also offer a basic Beekeeper Starter Kit at a discount. Add a kit to your order if you do not already have supplies to work bees. The kit contains a top quality vented jacket with fencing hood, a pair of goat skin leather gauntlet style beekeeper gloves, a hive tool and a smoker.

Please contact us if you have any questions or would like additional information. We will send a notice with all of the needed information a week or so in advance of the scheduled pickup date as well as the physical address to be used on a given date. Please enter the correct and most current email address and phone number when ordering.

Cancellation, Refund and Return Policy:
Since we must make all necessary arrangements and commitments to secure everything needed to fill orders, from equipment to bees to queens etc., all cancellations for refunds must be requested within seven days from the time the order is placed.
Returns for bees: Since bees are livestock and are subject to diseases, pesticides, temperatures and other factors that effect their health, and we have no control over the conditions the bees are subjected to once they leave our yards, we require a notice within 24 hours if there is any health issues with the bees.
